It is time to gather, although by zoom, for our Fall Annual Meeting!
The date is September 10, 2022 and we will begin to gather between 9:30 am and 9:45am to say hello, and begin our meeting promptly at 10:00am. I really love the Fall Annual Meeting because there are many exciting things that happen to bring us together as United Methodist Women. We will praise God, give awards, have the dedication of the hygiene kits, participate in the Candle Burning service and Remembrance service for 9-11. We will also have important reports from the Committee on Standing Rules, the Committee on Nominations, Installation, adoption of the budget and participate in the pledge service.

GUEST SPEAKER
Marilyn H. Stinson, Ph.D.
Dr. Marilyn Stinson is a Licensed Psychologist, Social Worker and Licensed Professional Counselor. Marilyn received Ph.D. in Counseling Psychology from Texas Tech University. Marilyn has been the staff counselor at North Davis Church of Christ since 1992. Besides having a private practice in south Arlington where she walks alongside adults while counseling, she has been a trained Spiritual Director for over a decade and recently completed the Certification Program in Spiritual Direction at Perkins School of Theology at SMU. Throughout the years, God has used Marilyn by leading retreats, teaching classes, facilitating groups and speaking nationally.
Marilyn’s husband, Eddie, is a campus minister at the University of Texas at Arlington. Besides ministering with Eddie at UTA, Eddie and Marilyn are both highly involved in missions as both are on the missions committee at their church and have done short-term missions on five continents. Marilyn and Eddie have been married for over 40 years and have 3 grown children, 2 daughters-in-law and 2 grandsons and will have a new granddaughter in October.
Marilyn loves the Lord and deeply desires to share God’s amazing love and grace with those who already know Christ and those who have yet to know Him. She believes there is ABSOLUTELY NOTHING more fulfilling that humbly walking with God and living in His presence each day.
